NOSE: Rich toasted oak and caramel upfront with baking spice of cinnamon, clove. Subtle fruit + citrus - orange peel, cooked fruit with a light sweetness of a brown sugar, vanilla.
PALATE: Sweet + oak + spice balance. Core flavors: caramel, vanilla, toasted coconut, hazelnut, pecan (very nutty, almost dessert-like) with secondary layers of dark cacao, toffee, brown sugar, rye spice backbone: of black pepper, clove, cinnamon.
FINISH: Long, warming, and dry-leaning with lingering toasted oak & tannins, brown sugar / maple sweetness, white pepper & cinnamon spice. It finishes like a toasted dessert with a rye spice snap.
NOTES: Aged 4–5 years, then finished in toasted wave-stave barrels for extra wood interaction. Proof: 96.6 (48.3% ABV). Double oak treatment = amplified dessert + oak notes that drinks like a rye-bourbon hybrid.
