Girvan Distillery - Hendrick's Oasium Gin Girvan, Ayrshire, Scottland, United Kingdom NOSE: Highly tropical and fruit-forward, papaya, guava, pineapple, grapefruit brightness with soft floral background of rose, elderflower and light herbal freshness underneath. PALATE: Lush, juicy, and expressive. Peach, orange marmalade, grapefruit with strong mid-palate of papaya & guava and subtle spice layer of coriander, cubeb (white pepper-like) with light herbal counterbalance of tarragon, green vegetal notes. Juniper is present but much softer than traditional gin. FINISH: Clean, refreshing, moderately long lingering citrus (lemon, pink grapefruit) with herbal tarragon and slight green/vegetal dryness balancing the fruit. NOTES: Bright, summery, and approachable compared to Orbium that feels like a tropical gin spritz built into the spirit.
