Conechu Ridge Distillery - Clyde May’s Wheated Bourbon Troy, Alabama, USA NOSE: Rich caramel, maple syrup, kettle corn, vanilla bean, honey, fresh baked pastry, light toasted oak and subtle cinnamon. PALATE: Soft vanilla custard, brown sugar, butterscotch, honey-drizzled cornbread, toffee, sweet cream, toasted marshmallow, gentle baking spices, light oak with very little rye spice, creating a smooth, approachable mouthfeel. FINISH: Medium length, warm caramel, vanilla, honey, toasted oak, soft cinnamon and a lingering sweet wheat character with a silky finish. AWARDS: Gold Medal – 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. NOTES: Wheat replaces rye as the flavoring grain, resulting in a bourbon that is rounder, sweeter, and less peppery, making it an excellent introduction to wheated bourbons. Nice balance & body to showcase rich caramel, vanilla, and honey flavors.
