PALATE: Caramel, deep vanilla, oak influence (wood tannin, dried fruit, nuts), baking spice (clove, nutmeg, cinnamon). FINISH: Long, with oak / barrel influence (tannins, toasted wood), lingering sweetness, maybe a hint of spice or dustiness. NOTES: This “10-Year Bourbon” is listed among their limited releases – benefitting from their “grain-to-glass” operations and local terroir (local grains, local limestone/sandstone aquifer, etc.). Driftless Glen mentions that their bourbons in general carry notes of butterscotch, vanilla, and caramel that complement a “subtle wheat aroma.”
