New Riff Distilling – New Riff Bourbon Barrel Aged Gin Newport, Kentucky, USA NOSE: Wild juniper and spicebush, vanilla oak from barrel aging with wood spices that intermingle with classic botanical aromatics. PALATE: Dryer angelica and subtle oak tannins with prominent orange peel and citrus zest, herbal and spice elements from the botanicals, balanced by mellow barrel influence. FINISH: Continued dry botanical notes with lingering citrus and light wood spice. NOTES: 94 proof; American Gin matured in bourbon barrels. Copper-pot distilled with a mix of traditional and locally foraged Kentucky botanicals; rested in fresh New Riff bourbon barrels for ~5–7 months, giving it oaky vanilla character.
