Osaka Distillery – Roku Japanese Gin Osaka, Japan NOSE: Floral and sweet, with prominent cherry-blossom (sakura) and green tea (sencha, gyokuro) aromatics. PALATE: A complex yet harmonious mix of classic gin botanicals plus Japanese-specific ones — yuzu citrus peel, sanshō pepper, cherry leaf & blossom, green tea leaf. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky. FINISH: A crisp, slightly spicy finish with the characteristic sanshō pepper warmth, citrus bitterness (yuzu), and tea-leaf dryness/tannins. AWARDS: Roku Gin was awarded Gold in the “Classic Gin” category at the World Gin Awards 2025 (47% ABV version). It also earned a Gold for design (43% ABV version) in the same awards.
