PALATE: Baking spices: cinnamon or light rye-style spice from the rye in the mash bill. Some caramel, brown sugar or toffee-like sweetness; nutty or pecan-pie-like. FINISH: Smooth with some warmth and light-spice / oak / vanilla lingering. The overall mouthfeel tends toward being more “easy-drinking” or “entry-level” bourbon — not extremely heavy or complex. AWARDS: A Platinum Medal – 2023 ASCOT Awards. 94 points in a 2019 tasting competition and has a Gold Medal from the 2019 Tastings Cise Competition.
