Rich sweetness underneath: caramel, brown sugar and dark fruit + depth of black cherry, subtle citrus. PALATE: Powerful but balanced for the proof. Core flavors of dark chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, honeyed sweetness for balance with fruit + complexity: Black cherry, orange citrus and a spice backbone of black pepper, cinnamon, clove. FINISH: Long, warming, and complex. Lingering rye spice (pepper, allspice), caramel + honey sweetness with dry oak and leather tannins.
